“My husband and I spent the Christmas holiday (five days) here. It was our second stay at the cabin, and we are already looking forward to returning. The cabin is very clean, pretty, and well-equipped. The kitchen (including huge outdoor grill) is great; the bed is very comfortable; the covered deck and hot tub have gorgeous mountain views and are beautifully lit at night. We enjoyed fires both indoors and outdoors. The adjacent property is home to a menagerie of chickens, ducks, sheep and an……

“Overall the view, the yard and hot tub made up for the little things. We spent most our weekend out on the deck and noticed it needs some TLC. Our 1 year old got splinters and scraped up and the board right when your about to enter the house is broken. We were really disappointed that the path down to the river is overgrown and you have to crawl over branches. There is ac in the main house in bedroom which was nice. But unfortunately there were spiders everywhere inside and dead bugs and cobwebs……

“We had a good stay. Hot tub was nice, even in the rain. Good to get away with the family for a couple nights.”

“It was a nice pace to stay, but there was old food in the fridge and freezer and it looked like the place was upgraded on the inside but in the outside it looked like the please might collapse. I would stay there again if it felt cleaner and safer ”

“This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway from city life! Surrounded by beautiful nature and in total isolation, the cabin is a picturesque vacation spot for relaxation and peacefulness. We took advantage of the fireplace, the hot tub, gorgeous nature views, and the extensive VHS collection. The ideal weekend getaway spot for a couple or small group. So cozy! Will be returning again! Huge thanks to Rita for her constant communication and ease of directions.”
