Nice Cabin with Beautiful View

I was very happy with this rental. It had a beautiful view and a large yard with plenty of space for our dog. There were many great amenities to make it a relaxing stay. We would stay here again.

Peaceful getaway

We had a cool weekend at the home, but it was relaxing and peaceful. The sunrises were amazing over the lake. The home was exactly as pictured. Everything you needed was available. The house was set back on the lake and was very private. A great place to stay. Warmer weather and we would have enjoyed the water. Beautiful beachfront

Loved our stay. Home with so many extras like sand toys, beach chairs and inner tubes that made our beach stay so much better. Lake water was really high in algae during our stay but that’s on Mother Nature.

Excellent Cottage on Lake Michigan

This property was very clean and looked newly remodeled. Large yard with short walk to the sandy lakefront. Fire pit and grill. Small towns located nearby. Quiet Location.

BEST VRBO IN THE UP

We loved staying at the cottage with our family! The house was clean and the set up was perfect; 3 beds in 1 room and a queen bed in the other, plus a dishwasher and washing/dryer was great too. The best part about staying here was the HUGE yard for our kids to run around with a fire pit and 300 feet of beach front! The sand was perfect and swimming was beautiful in crystal clear waters! We can’t wait to come back!

Relaxing trip.

Nice house off the lake. We really enjoyed the house and the lake except for the minor confusion of the kayaks and canoes directly located straight back from the house. We found out the hard way they didn’t belong to house for guest use.

Peaceful Cottage

My kids and I really enjoyed our stay. Everything was a described. We spent a few days on the beach behind the cottage, which my kids loved. We also toured the pictured rocks are aand took a charter boat out of Manistique. Very comfortable in the evenings by the cutey b

Relaxing long weekend

Had a great Thursday - Monday stay. The home has everything you could need to enjoy a nice weekend away. I enjoyed coffee by the water in the morning and enjoyed sitting in the yard later in the day taking it all in. Enjoyed Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, local bars playing chicken poop bingo, and great food. So many things to see and do within an hour of the home. We loved that we could have our pup with us too!

A nice getaway

We booked this property because we wanted a quaint getaway from the city life. It was exactly that and more! The property itself was very clean, well accomodated with most everything we'd need. Waking up and just being able to walk on a beach was such a treat and the area was lovely :) Definitely would stay again, but fair warning if you have tmobile you will highly likely not have signal.

Perfect property with a gorgeous view

The cottage was perfect for us - so cozy, everything new, and was sparkling clean. The property is beautiful - tons of space and steps from the beachfront. Our pup also had a great time - there are many dog-friendly trails not too far away, and lots of space to play outside on the property. If you need to grab groceries or other supplies, Escanaba is an easy 20 minute drive. Amy and her family are so welcoming and willing to help out with anything you need. We can't wait to visit again!

A quiet getaway in the UP

We had amazing lakefront view and access to the beach. Very quiet and relaxing . We brought our 10 mo old yellow lab Lucy and she loved being in the beach. A dip in the lake was a bit challenging due to shoreline algae but our pup didn’t mind it at all. Hopefully you get to meet Albert Einstein, the furry mayor of Sunrise beach, when he takes his morning walk.

Very Clean Property

The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Phone service is sketchy. There is no internet at the house. We didnt mind though as the goal was to enjoy family time outdoors and unplug for a while.The walk from the house to the beach across the yard is 250-300 yards, much farther than I thought it would be. The beach was ok. Lots of rocks in the water made it uncomfortable walking and playing. This of course is no fault of the property owner. Also a fowl smell at the beach that came and went. Unsure if that was due to septic tanks or some other issue. The view is gorgeous. My kids loved eating outside on the deck every day. Having your own private beach area is very nice. The setting of being in the woods and also having the lake there too was great!
