Relaxing Mountain House

We had a very nice stay here. It's a beautiful house in a great location. We hosted Thanksgiving day with our family and everyone enjoyed it!

EXCELLENT

This was our second stay at Dynamite Ridge. It's only 10 minutes from our son's home and so convenient to Weaverville and Asheville. Great stay!!

Wonderful and peaceful retreat

The property itself is beautiful, just like pictured and described. Located in a very peaceful location, easy to find and to access. The home is beautiful, with all the comforts and amenities needed to be a home away from home, including very comfortable beds. Close to many waterfalls, hiking trails, and many scenic places. we would definitely be back!

Great stay!

My mom and my two kids (4 and 8) rented the property for a long weekend getaway! The house is gorgeous and in perfect condition. We had a wonderful time exploring the area, including nearby Asheville. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet getaway with fairly easy access to Asheville.

Sweet Tree House

Loved this property, even though location is a distance from Asheville. It was exactly as portrayed by owner and property manager. Once there, we didn’t want to leave. Fabulous!

Amazing spot

Beautiful home in a great spot for exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains. Very clean and perfect for our family of 6. Great communication from Yonder. Walking distance to ziplining, short drives to beautiful waterfall hikes, decently close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Home

This house was one of the best I have stayed at. Updated with all the amenities you needed, very clean and comfortable. The outdoor porch was perfect for morning coffee and listening the the sounds of the forest. Only a short drive to Ashville but close to all the outdoor activities you want. We look forward to staying here again.

Mountain Paradise

The house is GORGEOUS with a wrap around deck that provides privacy and beautiful views with the peaceful sounds of a near by stream. Truly a piece of paradise! We will be back.

Dynamite Ridge Delivers!

Dynamite Ridge is a new, elegantly designed yet comfortable home that served our family so well. The owners equipped their home with all the furnishings and necessities any family could desire. The wrap around balcony and outdoor dining/furnishings allows you to enjoy the outside without dealing with the elements. The fire pit down the hill was an ideal place to stare out to the stars as the embers from the fire flame. Be prepared to experience the remnants of Hurricane Milton as Barnardsville was directly affected by the storm, but we were proud to support the local community however we could. Definitely will be back again to visit soon!

Great house if you want to be outside of Ashville

Great property, clean, well kept with plenty of room for family of 4. Only draw backs is you have to drive 20 minutes for food. The hot water for showers went in and out quickly.

Family Gathering

This was the perfect getaway for our family of 6. We enjoyed the views of the mountains from the ample porch with comfortable seating. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was spacious. We cooked in the kitchen and relaxed in the Living Room while playing games and watching basketball games. It was the perfect distance from Asheville. The food recommendations in the binder were spot on!! Stoney Knob Cafe was delicious and quirky!

Wonderful, quiet retreat

We had the good fortune to meet the owner, Steve, on our way in. It was fun to trade stories with him about the area. The house is wonderful! The setting is terrific. We enjoyed our mornings, sitting on the deck listening to the birds. We will be coming back next year.

The Perfect House

This new house was perfectly clean. Everything was new and well stocked. A great house in a private setting only 30 minutes away from everything. We visited Asheville, hiked, played games, cooked, and relaxed. All the TV channels if you need them and great internet. I would stay here again.

Pristine!

Dynamite Ridge was so very relaxing, new and clean! This spacious property offered the solitude and peace I was looking for. There are plenty of indoor/outdoor spaces to enjoy from the dining area to the master bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and I did not want for anything in terms of amenities. I highly recommend this property while you enjoy the beautiful Asheville area!

Great house, ok location

The house was well stocked and very clean. We really enjoyed the seating on the deck in the mornings and evenings, and as a bonus the overhead fans helped keep the bugs at bay. The only negative is the house was a little further removed from the areas and attractions we visited, so it required a decent amount of driving. The property/land also appeared to be shared, which took a little getting used to, as we were told to explore, but felt odd having a camp fire right in front of a camper trailer without knowing if it was occupied. All in all, I'd likely try to stay closer to Asheville next time, but would return if closer options weren't available.

Clean, attractive, and well-stocked

Most everything was great. Nice appliances, bedding, and accommodations overall. (However, the BBQ grill did not heat up above 190 degrees so our BBQ plans were canceled. We are all avid grillers, so a bit of a disappointment - we had bought everything in anticipation of having a nice BBQ dinner. Might be why grill looked new - like it's never been used - maybe it's never been usable. I would check to see if it's been resolved if that's an issue for you.) Nice property... all considered, it was a nice stay.

The perfect stay. Like going home in our dreams!

The appointments of this property exceeded expectations, particularly the kitchen. From the pots and pans to the cutlery to the appliances it was a dream. I’ll say the grill was the greatest surprise! It felt like I was christening it with our chicken it was so pristine. The grill tools were right there, the grate sparkled, and there was a backup propane tank. Beds and baths were all great. It was the kind of place you want to go to and take care of as if it is your own. The only complaint was the weekend was a wee bit too cold to take advantage of outside seating and dining areas - no one’s fault in mid-March I. The mountains. Just reason to return for another long weekend! We have one question - what are the large metal cubes along the mountain path? I’m going to figure this out, but please provide a hint if possible! Thanks for everything.

Dynamite Ridge - The perfect home away from home!

My family had the most pleasant 8 day stay at Dynamite Ridge in July 2023! We vacationed in and around Asheville, but did not mind the short drive back to the house each evening. First and foremost, the beds and linens are incredibly comfortable! The view from the master bedroom out into the back deck is gorgeous. The room also includes a large television and walk-in closet! The two guest rooms upstairs are supplied with comfortable beds, nice closets, board games, and each has a nice sized television. The kitchen is set up for prepping meals with an abundance of pots, pans, utensils, etc. We were pleased with large work areas and ample seating. The living room furniture is clean and welcoming. Throw blankets and lounge pillows are available, VERY CLEAN, and comfortable. The laundry machines are not coin operated as mentioned in my signed contract. Just a regular washer and dryer. I came armed with a load of quarters, but that is not necessary. Dynamite Ridge is VERY clean and comfortable overall. I would highly recommend a stay! I will definitely return the next time we visit the area.
