“We had a nice stay for the eclipse this weekend! Clean and comfortable cabin”

“We had a great stay at this cabin! My husband and I traveled with our 6 month old baby and our friends who have an 18 month old to New York for the total eclipse, and this rental was a great home base for us during the trip. It had a great location and was only a short drive from Old Forge. The wood stove kept the cabin cozy at night and our hosts were so communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to other travelers looking for a rustic but cozy cabin experience.”

“We had a wonderful time staying in this adorable cabin on over 90 acres. We loved sitting by the fire at night, and our dogs loved having plenty of open space to run and play. The kitchen is completely furnished with everything you'll need, and the location provided us with a quiet getaway. Michelle is a wonderful host who was quick to respond to my questions. Any family who stays here will not be disappointed.”

“First, we visited the cabin in February when there was a bunch of snow on ground with more falling. This was a trip with our puppy (his first trip). He loved playing in the snow and the property had a nice loop around the back that was easy to take him for a walk without having to go somewhere. While there are neighbors in site, they are far enough away that you can walk a dog without them being distracted by neighbors. The cabin had everything you need for a visit and then some. “Great cabin - clean, comfy beds and very quiet! Only complaint was the house water had an awful sulphur smell and we couldn’t drink it. Even taking showers & brushing teeth was unpleasant. Would suggest getting a whole house water filter and then the property would be 5 star!”

We stayed out by the fire pit deep into the night and were lucky enough to hear a great-horned owl in the distance. “Lovely stay at Henckley Reservoir. Emily & Kim(s) gave nice attention to detail like the waters and snacks available for excursions. We rented a pontoon boat and Andre was a great captain showing us around the lake first. Loved having a clean private beach to ourselves and the paddleboards and kayaks were easy to use. The view afternoon and evening was lovely including the loons. Thank you so much! Cabin was very comfortable and clean and up to date.”
