“The staff were really friendly when we arrived and the rooms were large, and beds comfortable enough. However, the sink was leaking in the room, which had a towel placed under it, so I sense the staff were aware of the leak. Despite us staying in October time, it was quite noisy within the hotel and it woke us multiple times in the night. You could hear chairs being scraped across tiles and other rooms using their toilets. Therefore I don’t think the rooms are greatly soundproofed. In spite of……

“We stayed for one night whilst visiting Pompeii. The room was ready early and spotless, the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was in another small building but was really good. Best tea I’ve had so far in Italy. Location was 1 minute from the train station and 5 from the entrance to the site. Only one problem, there was an annoying noise like a boiler on all night.”
