「Another excellent stay at the very well run, comfortable Hotel Vilamar!
It really ticks all my boxes, with its very friendly staff, its very spacious, well maintained rooms and neat terraces overlooking the pleasant gardens and swimming pools. There is also a cozy bar/restaurant serving value breakfast, snacks and evening meals so what’s not to like?
The location is a 20 minute (uphill) walk from Luz centre and beach but the bus from Lagos to Burgau stops right outside the door, a huge plus...

「We had a wonderful and unexpected upgrade from a 1 bed to a 3 bed apartment. Apartment was beautiful. All new and fresh and clean. Housekeeping were supposed to change sheets during our stay but didn’t. They did refresh towels. Kitchen could do with a cheese grater but other than that it was perfect! Great location for beaches/coastal walks and a short walk/€3 uber into town.」
