"Difficult to plan excursions from this location. Very cool stay but not convenient location. The hotel is planning to start helping guests book excursions directly with the hotel which is a great idea. During our stay, we were unable to do this unfortunately. We found the most cost-effective method to book things seemed to be taxi or bolt 45 minutes away just to start in Malaga where group tours pickup. We decided to pay extra to travel more directly to Ronda one day & taxi fares are very expensive. A hotel transfer to the airport was also expensive. The hotel offered to book for around 100 dollars. We saved a little just arranging our own taxi. (Still not cheap though)"

"Great view from the property. We liked the place overall. They have onsite parking for a fee or you can park on the street which is not busy since this hotel has a rural location. The only annoying thing we found was that the pool "closes" at a certain time (7 pm comes to mind) and they literally put up a fince around it to keep everyone out. In the morning the pool is not available until almost noon. The town of Mijas seems like a total tourist trap but has some decent food if you can find the place! The town is built into a hill and the streets are steep and winding. Free parking is limited but there is a garage if all else fails."

"Lovely Spanish country Finca set in a sprawling valley to the north of Coin. We came for some quiet and time for ourselves and couldn't have picked a better spot. The house has a great view, especially in the evening with the sun setting. It's rustic but has every amenity that you could want.We especially found Allan and Wendy very helpful, and my wife really enjoyed her horse riding (from Allan's recommendation). We found it a brilliant location for exploring the local region too, not too far from the main road."

"A perfectly pleasant stay at this hotel. Staff were excellent and helpful. Hotel rooms were a great size and functional, but the hotel now starting to show its age and is a bit dated. Bathrooms appeared clean, but smelt a bit musty. For the price I’d definitely stay here again as it represents great value, but don’t book here thinking you’re coming to a resort type hotel."
