「Tapada da Beirã was a charming villa, it had everything we could have wished for, the hosts were lovely and were on hand with advice and knowledge of the area. Plenty of outdoor spaces to relax or eat al fresco and a super swimming pool. You need a car to get around, the nearest shop is in Santo António das Areias. About 20 steps from the Villa is a lovely restaurant and the food was amazing as were the staff.」

「Passámos 4 noites na casa da Oliveira e apesar do frio que se fez sentir a climatização da casa é muito boa e estivemos sempre confortáveis. 「We spent seven days here in April, 2023. This is a lovely village with everything you might need for a great time. Restaurants were exceptionally good. The people were very nice and outgoing. Many spoke English. Lots of good walking in the area. We'd go back to this area in a heartbeat. If you go don't miss nearby Marvao castle and village. As for the house, there are 38 steep steps from the lower level up to the terrace. The middle flight is steepest and has no handrail. The house is 3 levels...
