We had a warm welcome, including a bottle of wine and guided tour of the house.The area around Sarlat has so much to do and we enjoyed canoeing down the River Dordogne, visiting the caves at Padirac, two Chateaus, many markets and all in fantastic weather.”

“The perfect place for an extended family holiday. My husband, our three children and their families, 14 of us in total, have just spent a wonderful holiday at lLe Hameau. The area is fantastic for exploring the Dordogne but above all the accommodation and the setting are perfect for a large group holiday. The three houses are very well equipped, comfortable and provide space and privacy but the communal dining and kitchen areas in the Red Gite allow for the entire group to eat and socialise……

“The apartment is beautiful and spacious, very well appointed and maintained. It’s located in the old city center with wonderful restaurants, bistros, shops, patisseries all around…and the famous geese sculpture is just outside! Free parking only a few minutes walk. Sarlat is a perfect central location for day trips to nearby Dordogne villages and many prehistoric sites. The local contact was most helpful with check in and other information. We highly recommend this property…5 stars!”
