“We had a wonderful stay at Odyssey Villa in Escaleras. The drive is an adventure, but once you arrive, the house and views are absolutely stunning—photos truly don’t do it justice. We previously lived in Hawaii with an ocean view and agree with other reviews that this view is somehow even more impressive, overlooking a lush green valley and Diamante Waterfall.The setting is calm and peaceful, with magical sunrises and sunsets. “I stayed here for two weeks with my wife and 5 year old. We really loved everything about the property. It was a bit off the beaten path, which means it was quiet and relaxing. We had a rental car, so getting around was easy. The property is in the mountains, but still only 15 minutes from Dominical and 30 minutes to Uvita.
