Baruna Dive Center

I was welcomed with a beautiful letter, towel animal & a decorated tub. The property was very clean and well-maintained. The views from our room was breathtaking. The staff was beyond amazing! They were very nice, helpful and friendly - unmatched. The spa was so relaxing. The massages were relaxing but it was cold inside. So for me, that was a bit uncomfortable. However, they fixed that immediately. The restaurant was inviting and hosted events during the week.

We were quite disappointed. We were expecting a lot considering the resort’s ratings. Check in was 3pm. We arrived at 4:20pm and our room still wasn’t ready. When we got to our room at 6pm there was no extra bed which we’d paid for. We had a package including canapés and cocktails 4:30-6. We ordered right on 4:30 but it took half an hour for any food or drink to come. Canapés were one miniature chicken wing and a dollop of dip with a few vegetable sticks each. All pool beds were taken early morning. People had reserved them with their belongings. Breakfast was very average. On the plus side… the ocean view rooms were spacious and a staff member gave the kids a complimentary icecream and teddy. We wouldn’t stay here again. Unfortunately it wasn’t worth the huge amount of money we paid for the inclusions and rooms.

The property was clean, well-appointed and the staff were professional, helpful and lovely. The breakfasts were great and the coffee superb! Location was also close to all our usual haunts and our favoroite beach bar. The only down-side was that the swimming pool and the adjacent sun lounges were in shade all day (this was in early to mid-July), so it was not conducive to swimming or lounging around the pool.
