"The hosts were lovely, the place was very big for the price, and the location can't be beat! Within two blocks of all the shops in town, and 500m to the edge of the forest. An excellent place to stay for a long rock climbing trip."

"Beautiful older style property, quiet with great character and charm. Easy check in and out .Perfect base for Disneyland and French countryside. Plenty of space and well equipped.Very pretty courtyard gardens and plenty of outside seating.Would recommend for those with slightly older children and teenagers due to stairs to living accommodation Would definitely return in the future "

"We absolutely loved Fontainebleau. What a charming little city. If you’re lucky enough to find Gèraldine’s place is available, book it! It’s full of character, comfortable and central to everything in town. We had 3 quiet nights in September. Wish we could have stayed longer. "We found the house was a comfortable base for our stay visiting Paris for the Olympic Games. It is conveniently located only about 15 minutes drive from Tournan-en Brie which is on two RER lines which take you into the centre of Paris in 30-45 minutes. The house is well equipped and stayed cool during some very hot weather. The welcome was friendly and efficient giving us all the information we needed. The only negatives were the dampness of the atmosphere in the house, this is probably related...

"I will stay in a number of times in the villages around Fountainbleau coming to enjoy the Climbing. This is one of the best places I’ve ever been to! It’s not very far from the best bouldering areas, and it has a wonderful feel. If you have a group, this was a perfect place to stay. Highly recommended"
