"We have just returned from a brilliant couple of weeks at La Roche. The house and setting is lovely and so peaceful. We loved sitting in the garden or by the pool and listening to the birds. The house itself sleeps 8 and upstairs is a/c which was a relief from the 34 degree heat. Pool was clean and large enough for all the kids to play. Nearby to Bergerac with lots of easily reached day trips. Would definitely return. "

"We stayed in Bayac at Phillips place for a week with friends and kids. It was a fantastic week. We especially enjoyed the perfect pool and the bbq. For the kids it was for sure Flame, Phillips dog. Phillip was very helpful in every way. If you´re looking for real holidays in place close to the most sights of the Dordogne region - here it is."

"Could recommend the property enough. We loved it and having the owner up the road was helpful too. We had three families in our party including 7 kids. They loved sleeping in the den downstairs and had access to a number of games to keep them entertained. The pool was lovely and the views spectacular. The fig trees in the grounds were amazing! We will definitely go back.
Recommended local towns for meals and the lakes particularly the one with the inflatables. About 30 mins from the house."

"Perfect home for 2 weeks in a fabulous location for exploring chateaus and caves.We had everything we needed with the bonus of the pool which was very much needed in the heat and the boys loved it. Walking into Monpazier daily to visit the Boulangerie was a happy routine. "
