Since then the store has changed owners many times, but it remains one of the only stores on 321 from Boone to Blowing Rock. The shop is a self-proclaimed "everyday farmers market," where old fashioned farm produce and products can be purchased. Simultaneously, the store is a modernized gas station, partnered with Citgo, where cars filled with tourists can stop for fuel and commercial goods. #appalachianechoes

"Fantastic boutique hotel. We stayed at the property on our way to a cruise and I've got to say this was amazing. As we entered the property we checked in at the bar which was quick and easy. Our room was large, clean, modern and comfortable. The hotel was near shopping, the rail, the cruise port and hop and go adventures. What more can you ask for? If you're looking for a weekend getaway, this is definitely a town you should check out and this is a hotel suitable for a romantic getaway or even a girls fun weekend. No matter what your adventure, this hotel and this little town should be on your bucket list. Don't miss the Penta hotel in Rostock!"
