"Annual extended family trip, they enjoyed trails and Natural Bridge state park. This 4 unit lodge is very tired and poorly maintained inside and out. We were told there were 3 grills to cook on and upon arrival it was evident the grills had not been used or cleaned for a long time. The electrical wiring and circuits in pavilion and the lodge were sketchy at best.Utensils and tableware were almost non-existent in some units so we had to raid from all units to get meals prepared and served. "Excellent working farm in the rolling countryside of Kentucky. Host was so kind. Treated us to some of their produce straight from their garden. Gave us a tour of their working fiber mill on the farm that uses their own wool from their sheep and lamas. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. Overall just a quiet restful place to take a step back in time. Looking forward to visiting again in the future"

"Room had not been swept. We had to call to get toilet paper and a working hair dryer. Disappointed about the condition of the room. Property could be really nice but definitely needs some attention and maintenance. Needs to be painted, freshened up and updated. "
