「Stayed at Chequers Inn, Battle, for three nights and we were very happy with the Inn and its location. We had a very comfortable stay and the staff were friendly. Would stay again if I was in Battle. About equal distance from the railway station and the town centre.」

「We had an amazing 4 days at the property. The owner was fantastic providing us with bread, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, butter amongst other things. The property was lovely and cozy and would highly recommend. The high street was a short walk with some great dining options ☺️」

「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」

「The staff were very polite nd friendly. The room was very spacious with a large comfortable bed. There was a kettle with loads of tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied. There was a shower in the bathroom . With very large towels which smelled lovely . Lots of shampoo, shower gel snd body lotion supplied. I will definitely be going back 」
