"Lovely hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Nice room, comfortable bed, modern bathroom. The staff were so very friendly and efficient. Really exceptional breakfast. Great great great. We will be returning for sure."

"Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom."

"Amazing four poster bed, linen, blankets etc. Great decor throughout. Lovely host. Loved seeing the horses, Shetland ponies and the donkey from our decking, and stroking them. Brilliant log burner."
