「Upgraded to a lovely room」

「The pods were very good but could do with being situated near to the shower/toilet block」

「Very comfortable and relaxing with the friendliness of the staff who make you feel at home with them. Breakfast is good although we would have preferred yoghurt available to add to a good range of cereal. Maybe it was and we should have asked!!! The king size bed was very comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Hastings 」

「Really lovely stay. I booked 5 rooms for a wedding and staff could not have been nicer. Special thanks to Tracey on reception and Ray in the bar. Only not picky points are that the shower wasn’t great and the beds were too soft. Powdermills is a beautiful hotel in a picture perfect setting」

「Pleasant hotel with decent public areas. Food good in restaurant but not able to sample breakfast as this was too late for business guests. Room very warm and difficult to cool even with supplied fan. Quite a tricky exit/entrance from main road depending on time of day. Staff lovely and made to feel welcome during the stay. Good value for the room chosen and overall a good experience.」

「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」

「Really good spot if you are visiting Rye. Short walk to the old part of Rye,plentiful free parking. Nice room and very good service from the Lady at front desk. Has a Bar,serviced by said Lady,but no dinner restaurant..(while we were there) You can order in and the Hotel will provide warm plates etc;.........or,weather permitting ,walk across the river into Rye old town. 」

「The host was acomodating and really helpful. Easily accessible via texts. We never actually saw her. Room was prepared for us and welcoming, refreshments were available on arrival and kid found little fridge greaf. Some little things in there that makes the room not be worth 10/10 like little TV never working or shower leaking so needing to use one of towels to make sure we don't drown neighbours, but we would return providing that the order becomes easier. Unsure if I'd book via hotels.com...

「Really lovely stay in this quiet little Oast House. We stayed in a round room, beautifully decorated with ensuite shower room. Tea and coffee and biscuits, TV in room. Plenty of drawers and cupboard space for clothes. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely, and everyone was so friendly. We also had an excellent roast dinner on the Sunday. Just a short walk into Rye, which was a bonus. Would totally recommend it, and we hope to stay there again. 」
