We had a lovely 3 night stay at this Hotel. We were greeted and looked after by a very friendly and caring host and staff. Breakfast was freshly cooked and there was a good menu. We had room 3 with a big balcony overlooking the promenade with sunshine from early morning to late afternoon. Hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. Thoroughly recommend.

The owner and staff members go out of their way to make sure that all guests feel welcome and cared for. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and been looked after (it's part of a package); but here it feels that it's on a more personal level (not because they have to). Well done to all at The New England.

Incredible, hard working and very responsive staff. Adri and her team make this place feel like a family home. Location is also prime, yet tucked away behind the pier so you get the quaint ambiance of Eastbourne and it's a bit quieter.

Highly recommend

Very clean friendly and well Kept hotel/B&B. Mattress was soft for my taste but no complaints. Breakfast was excellent with great service. Highly recommended and lovely place to stay and I will definitely stay again.

The overall experience was excellent. The proprietors were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was attractively decorated and furnished. The bedroom was very comfortable with its own spacious balcony overlooking the sea. the breakfasts were excellent.

This is a convenient well run guest house in an old and dated building although the bathrooms and dining area are well modernized. Parking is difficult and front facing rooms were almost intolerably hot since I had the good fortune to be in England for the five days when they had summer!!

Lovely and Yummy

We stayed there for 5 nights with our 2 teen girls joining over the weekend. Everything was really good: the hospitality, the room and bedding, breakfast, local restaurant guide and even the flush at the toilet. Parking was an issue after 8pm as usually all the closest parking lots would be full.

Eastbourne Tennis

Nice hotel just off sea front, limited parking, but managed to park on street nearby. You need to pre-order breakfast by 8pm the night before. Breakfast was fantastic, really good quality. Not many places to eat nearby, need to walk along the seafront about 1/2 mile to the area.
