And it has the extra charm of being in a cave with exposed rock walls. This required special attention when entering the upper level. "This guest house is on a beautiful property. The guest house has plenty of space - 2 primary floors and a loft. There is a beautiful outdoor area and the pool can be used by guests. The owners and property manager are all extremely kind, hospitable and welcoming. The owners actually provided a bottle of bubbles as a welcome gift! "Lovely garden, kids enjoyed the pool, I enjoyed the run around the vineyards. Gite was charming and well equipped. Easy communication. My one suggestion would be to improve the quality of the mattresses - thin foam mattresses would be more expected in a budget location."

"A lovely, clean and cosy house in a very peaceful area. A great base for exploring the countryside, chateaux and towns. Chinon is a few minutes away by car and has a great market on a Thursday morning, as well as two supermarkets and an amazing fortress. Communication with the owners was excellent."
