"We stayed on a beachfront room, but unfortunately, it was situated right in front of the bar. So early in the morning, you could hear the staff talking loudly and laughing. I think that in this type of properties, the staff should more quiet, and let the guests have a more quiet vacation. The same happened while having breakfast, the staff communicates with each other by talking loud at a distance, which should not be the case. Otherwise, the hotel was very nice, very clean, very well designed."

"The hotel was so cute and clean and right across from half moon bay. Restaurants, bars, shops and water taxi within walking distance. The staff was amazing and so nice. It also has the most beautiful sunsets. We will definitely be back to Roatan and stay at Mr. Tucan!"

"We absolutely loved our stay here. We had a three bedroom ocean view villa, which was spacious and beautiful. The kitchen was well appointed with plates, utensils, and a couple of pots plus a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. The property grounds are gorgeous, and the pool is large and looks right at the beach. Restaurants on the property were tasty but pricey, so we got some simple groceries for snacks and a couple breakfasts. Taco Tuesday at the Sea Cat is a must! Best of all, though, the coral reef is incredible, and it is right in front of the Kimpton. We snorkeled multiple times every day and saw incredible diversity…fish, rays, a turtle, and more. What an incredible location- we didn’t want to leave!"

"An Absolute Paradise – 100% Recommended! My wife and I recently stayed at the Turquoise Resort in Roatan, and it was everything we could have hoped for. The resort is incredibly quiet, private, peaceful, and absolutely lovely. The food was hands-down the best we’ve had, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Special props to **Karen Isabela**—she is highly professional, clearly knows her job, and is exceptionally well-informed and well-trained. We also want to extend a huge, special thank you to the Restaurant Manager, **Vanessa Avila**. We had a small hiccup during check-in, but Vanessa completely went above and beyond for us. She made sure we felt incredibly welcomed and fixed everything immediately, doing the absolute best for us. We absolutely love this location. It is well worth every penny, and we recommend it 100%! We can't wait to come back."

"Air conditioning was fantastic. The staff was amazing. The property was older so it could definitely benefit from a makeover but….. the bed was super comfy the pillows were comfy. Our shower head was clogged and they replaced it immediately. The view and beach was 10/10. For the price point it was amazing. "

"The rooms are basic but that's ok because you don't spend much time in the room! The dive shop is phenomenal. They use smaller boats to get around quickly and keeps the dive groups small. The dive leader's are awesome. They are very attentive to your every need. I cannot say enough good things about them. I would highly recommend diving with them if you have the opportunity."
