「AC did not work but the fan worked. Some of the furniture was worn or broken. But overall, for Mexico, and especially Yelapa where there are limited amenities, it was fairly good. The staff were helpful, especially Ismar, who spoke some English. As my Spanish is poor I was grateful for that!」

「The room was so interesting and beautiful. But the grounds were the best part, the outside areas were serene and well landscaped. My friend and I enjoyed sitting out or enjoying a hammock by the river often. I also enjoyed that there was a small row boat that I could row over to the beach area. We had our first dinner there and it was the most delicious meal of our 14 day trip (the volcano one).」

「I recently stayed at Secrets Bahia Mita Surf & Spa and unfortunately the experience did not match the expectations of an adults-only resort. While the property is marketed as adults only, it shares facilities with Dreams Resort, and there were kids throughout many of the common areas. This made it feel less like a true adults-only getaway. The service at the lobby was also disappointing. Staff often didn’t know basic information such as opening and closing times for restaurants and amenities....

「This property has great rooms with full kitchens. All the appliances that you would need for a vacation. The bar makes excellent margaritas and the staff is great.」

「This was a quiet place to be able to retreat to after partying at El Malecon. Quite peaceful and affordable. They have a house cat named Benito who just chills and sleeps. 」

「El hotel es muy cómodo, solamente el detalle de que te tocan la puerta a las 9.30 am para preguntarte si vas a requerir limpieza en la habitación. Pudiera ser un poco más tarde para no interrumpir el descanso del huésped, o colocar algún indicador sobre la necesidad o no de limpieza en la habitación」

「Todo el personal en general, te trata de maravilla, las habitaciones impecables e higienicas, lo que si quedo a deber es la playa, tiene mucha piedra, pero son recursos naturales y se entiende perfectamente bien esa situacion, alimentos de muy buena calidad.」
