“The place is seriously dated and in need of upgrades. My curtains were torn and unusable and with the sun beating in on one of those 100 degree days I was nonplussed. A quick discussion with the very accommodating desk clerk had the curtain “fixed” in no time (still needed replacement because it now couldn’t be opened - Lol.) Needed to find a plug and looked behind the nightstand - quite dusty. Breakfast was pretty ok. Staff who checked me out was quite personable. So 10 for the staff,……

“This is our second stay and the first time there was a bridal party staying in the hotel and the groomsmen were having a loud and fantastic time! Mainly in the bar downstairs, but also the hallways and the elevator. But, it was a wedding and so we just kind of went with the flow. “This is crack central. Dangerous for alone travelers. I was afraid in the parking lot. Avoid this place like the plague. When I checked in I saw the condition of the office and I knew how the room would be. I asked for refund and was told Expedia would contact the owners for a refund. Of course they were unable to reach them. That tells me they know how bad it is. Pass this place up.”

“The property itself is beautiful, but unfortunately that’s where the positives ended for us. The rooms and restaurant feel very dated, and the amenities don’t match the price. Our room didn’t even have a refrigerator, so any drinks or food we brought with us stayed warm, and the shower knobs barely worked. The pool felt more like a warm bath than something refreshing, and it was so crowded there weren’t nearly enough chairs for the number of guests. The staff was friendly, but they seemed……

“Wonderful facility. Enjoyed the on site amenities. The garden was an interesting twist.Stayed in the Barn, a little tight for two people but well designed space. I would recommend if in the area.”

“I have stayed here many times and for the price you really can’t complain. However, we only had two bath towel towels, one washcloth and no soap. I tried to get in touch with the staff, but they did not answer so I just went to the dollar store and bought what I needed. Again for the price it can’t be beat. Just know you’re not in a Hilton.”
