"My stay at MK Hotel was amazing! The hotel is only about 5 minutes from the airport, which was extremely convenient. My only mistake was not realizing it was about 20 minutes from the city, so I ended up spending quite a bit on taxis. That said, the staff was incredible and made the stay worthwhile. The guys at the steakhouse treated me exceptionally well and provided great service. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and honestly wouldn’t change anything about the hotel itself. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Straightaway, we were met with Selma. The most wonderful girl at the reception desk. She gave us the most wonderful welcome, upgrade, always helpful during our entire stay and genuinely made what started as a bad trip, completely different as soon as we stepped into the hotel. "Mercure Hotel is a clean, well-maintained property. It's located near a major intersection on the western outskirts of Tirana. There are two things I liked about the hotel. First, it is clean and new for the price range. Not fancy, but I did not experience any inconvenience during my stay. Second, the breakfast buffet was really good, much better than most four-star hotels in Western Europe. In addition to eggs and sausages, they had vegetable dishes, mushrooms, various kinds of cheese (not just European cheese but also more Middle Eastern cheese), five or six different kind of jams, different kinds of yogurt, fresh fruit, bread, and more. There is also an absolutely pleasant female worker there. She greets every guest and asks how we are doing in a super cheerful manner but not in an annoying way. She was a delight to see every morning. The hotel should give her a big raise! The most serious drawback I had was the location of the hotel. Because it's outside the main area of the city, there are so few restaurants to go out for dinner. I ended up eating dinner at the hotel, which was very disappointing unlike the excellent breakfast. I think they microwave everything in the kitchen, which is really problematic for dinner that pretends to be a bit fancy. So if you stay here, make sure to eat in town before coming back to the hotel."
