“The staff was very friendly and very outgoing. The breakfast was fresh and hot every day and a widespread of food. Our room overlooked the gulf which we enjoyed from morning to night. ”

“The room and property were clean. Our room had two double beds, was spacious, and had cute,, funky decor. It's a "no frills" room but did have shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The Keurig was in the hallway for all guests on the floor to share, but there were plenty of pods and condiments. There is no front desk. We were given a door code for check in that activated without a problem at 4 pm. The hotel is in a great area, literally steps from Bacchus Restaurant and Bar, a new brewery next……

“The floors obviously had not been mopped recently. Needed to be swept as well. The breakfast was not very good. The photos of the room and common area online were deceiving to what it actually looked like in person. ”

“Room was disgustingly dirty, mold on ice machine, bugs in shower, floors and walls filthy, smelled horrible, we were booked for one night couldn’t even stay, advised front desk we were leaving hotel did not try to accommodate at all.. would never recommend ”

“Overall, a decent stay for a reasonable price. Young solo female traveler who is often cautious about budget hotels but was overall satisfied with the experience. I was in town only one night and truly just needed somewhere to sleep, and this place was close to my event and not overpriced. I didn't spend much time there, but the room seemed clean, had towels, needed toiletry stuff, kitchen accessories, and the basics, as most hotels do. It was a good-sized room with a big bed, desk, couch, mini……

There is a coffee shop , restaurant, and rooftop bar on the property. All were very enjoyable. I highLy recommend The Markham.”

“The location is too close to road so that it's convenient but noisy. Laundry environment is not very clean. We gave up to use the washing machine since somebody left cloth in it for a long time. The bathtub got stuck but was fixed soon.”
