"The views at Villa Antonio were spectacular and the grounds were beautiful. The breakfast was just as good as we'd heard, but in addition we also really enjoyed the dinner very much. Everyone was helpful and very kind. "The location is the best part of this hotel: only a ten minute walk around the bay with the most breathtaking views of Korcula Old Town. And you really don’t need to spend extra on a balcony with a sea view unless you’re someone who spends a lot of time in your hotel room because you get the views from the communal spaces. Having said that, our room was quite dingy and dated with quite an old, thick carpet on the floor that I didn’t want to walk on bare-footed, so it’s a good job we don’t spend much time in hotel rooms! The bed was comfortable and it was superficially clean but daily cleaning wasn’t very thorough - a dirty cup was left for the three days we were there. Breakfast was good and they very kindly allowed us to order room service in the bar. When I didn’t like a cocktail I’d ordered, they didn’t take it off the bill, which surprised me considering it’s a four star hotel. I’d book again, purely for the location."

"Beautiful villa in stunning location. Other reviewers are right when they say the photos do not do it justice. External areas (there are lots to choose from) offer opportunities for sun-worship, reading and contemplating life - all with breathtaking views over the Adriatic to Korcula. You can walk to the beach or drive to to myriad attractions within 15-30 minutes, a personal favourite being breakfast in Loviste (15 min drive).The island of Korcula is very accessible by passenger ferry (dinner and a few drinks) or car ferry if you want to view the island's beaches or wineries. It's quite possible to catch the 8.30 ferry, drive around the island to enjoy breakfast in the port at Vela Luka, an hour at a secluded beach and enough time at a winery to spend a few euros - and be back floating in the pool (free lilo provided) by 2pm.Spotlessly clean, high quality fixtures and fittings, fruit and essentials on arrival. Anita an excellent and discreet host. Very quick to respond to any issues.An indulgence for just the 2 of us. Plenty of space for 2 couples or a family. Highly recommend. We'll be back."
