"I love a charming retro motel, and this did not disappoint. The owner was a great guy!! I loved talking to him and he was accessible for anything we needed. The rooms were very clean, the pool was sparkling. It looks a little run down when pulling in, but that adds to the charm for me! I'm a retro lover and this motel was amazing. There were updates made to the rooms that are more modern - new bathrooms & nice flooring. There were no toiletries in the room, just soap, but I always travel with everything I need so it wasn't an issue. The remotes were labeled so we didn't have to guess what went with what. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were a bit uncomfortable for me. They were fine for my husband. It wasn't a huge deal, pillows are very subjective. I love this place and will definitely stay again!"
