"We had a great week on Beal’s! Check-in was easy, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the house was light, airy, clean, and perfectly set up for our family. Beautiful sunrises, nice spot to sit by the water, great walks/hikes nearby, great seafood, friendly community, and far from the tourism and crowds further down the coast—we booked for next year before we even left! "We stayed at this location myself , my daughter, my best friend and her daughter and her husband. We all fit nicely in the home. The property was great. Very clean. Check in was easy and they communicated via text which made it SO easy. Everything was as expected and listed. We would absolutely stay here again when we return. The text about local places, hikes and stores etc was So helpful and such a nice touch they add to this experience. We took morning walks around the area with the kids and they loved it. Had a fire in the evenings and did smores. There is a charcoal grill in the property. I didn’t see that in the listing but it was there when we arrived, just needed charcoal! We spent two days in Acadia and hit some seal watching at Bar Harbor Whale Watch company. The only thing I would add is that during the time we went August 7-10, the majority of the time we were at the cabin (morning and evening) the tide was so low that the view right in front of the cabin was just mud but this is just the nature of tides and seasons! Not something we felt was negative by any means as the other side of the road there was beautiful views and water. Can’t recommend this place enough! "

Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). "
