Everything we needed was there for use, including more beach “lake” towels, plenty of towels & also shampoo & conditioner were there if needed. The home was very clean, and super cute (very well decorated), and over all a great experience for our family. We will definitely consider this property in our future visits to Norris Lake.”

“We had a delightful stay and loved the functional floorpan. It was very clean and we lacked for nothing. The property exterior was a beautiful wrap around porch overlooking beautiful lush grass and a large pond. We flew kites, fish, went for country drives and met some nearby cows. This is exactly what we look for when looking to spend some together time.”

“Nice home with spacious bedrooms and a large kitchen with plenty of seating inside and out. Lots of refrigerator space. The water level was low at this time of year (March) but this was explained before renting. 8 kiddos 12 and under had a ball. It was about an hour drive to Gatlinburg. There is a bedroom on ground floor and the rest require stair climbing if that is an issue for any person in your party. We would recommend staying here.”

“We stayed here for one of our son's state fishing tournaments with Tn Bass Nation. We were a little far from the ramp where the blast off was but the location could not have been more peaceful. (We honestly wound up using another ramp (Grainger County Park) to launch from anyway because the blastoff ramp was kind of cramped.) “Overall it was a nice house, with easy access to all things around Douglas Lake. The only downsides were that we had to wash the sheets, as one set was not clean, with some dirt and trash in the bed. Also, there was no hairdryer, contrary to what was listed in the amenities.”

“Our stay was wonderful. The home is beautiful and immaculately kept with all the utensils and towels you could need. Only complaints are the oven didn’t seem to regulate the temperature like it should. The upstairs also got exceptionally hot while downstairs was cold. The interior of the home feels very dark at night and could benefit from brighter lighting. The exterior was also lacking lights by the hot tub area, which could present a safety concern . All of that said, we would stay here again……

“Amber Escape was a great place for us to stay!! We were a group of 18 adults and 1 infant, and it was phenomenal for a group of our size. The poolhouse provided an excellent location for the louder party animals of our group, and the main house was great for us to convene as a group for dinners and relaxation. “This was our second time staying at this condo. Both of our stays have been great! The view from the balcony is awesome even though the lake has been down on both of our visits. The condo is on the first floor which makes it easy to load and unload. The unit is also very quiet which makes for a great night’s sleep. The condo is also well stocked with starter supplies and Dollar General is close by if you need to pickup anything. The owners are great hosts and they are quick to respond to any……
