“We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage, the hosts Janet and Mark were there to welcome us and tell us about the place. We received some great welcome gifts, the doggie bag for our Cockapoo was a great hit as he played with the ball the whole weekend. “A very good stay which is going to be improved by the addition of a hot tub, unfortunately I think that we were the last guests not to benefit. Nice chatting with Gareth about the history of the place. The only things I would like to see are access to the available wifi and (please Gareth), a new bed or at least mattress.”

"Location is perfect, facing the sea and we need only 1 minute to walk to the beach. I visited in mid-May, when the hotel was undergoing maintenance which was unexpected and left me certain disappointments. However, the rest experiences were in contrast and exceeded my normal expectation to a hotel. It did great in 3 very important basic things of a hotel, which are strong and hot shower, comfortable bed and pillow, and strong hair dryer (all were even better than most 5 stars hotels I have visited). Services also excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the waiter of the restaurant who was enthusiastic and sincere. Restaurant food was great and price was reasonably low. Carpet of the room was a bit old which was the only thing I did mind a bit. Will definitely visit again."
