Accommodation description:
This stylishly furnished villa, built with contemporary comforts, is located on a large private estate of 2000 m2. The villa is located 3 km from the picturesque village of Beaumes-de-Venise. From the covered terrace, you overlook the beautifully lit garden with private pool, a pond and next to it an ancient olive tree. Inside, everything is tastefully decorated. 2 of the 4 bedrooms are located 1 level below (via 6 steps). Enjoy the scents and colours of Provence from the Bali bed
Beaumes-de-Venise is located in the Haut-Vaucluse and is known for its vineyards from which the Muscat grapes come. From this grape, the delicious dessert wine is made. Life in the village takes place around an open central square with lively little squares, fountains, shops and cosy terraces.
You will find yourself in an environment where there is plenty to do. There are many cycling and walking routes to the impressive mountain "Mont Ventoux" and "Les Dentelles de Montmirail". The Mont Ventoux is probably the most famous mountain for many cyclists after the Alpe d'Huez. Besides the cycling routes, there are also beautiful hiking possibilities. Would you like to learn more about the culture? The famous historical places Avignon and Orange are within a range of 25 km. The antique city Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, also called the Venice of France, is definitely worth a visit. The city Vaison-la-Romaine, with its various restaurants, many squares, refreshing fountains, medieval castle and shopping streets is also an absolute must in the Vaucluse! It is one of the 'plus Beaux Détours de France'. This city has an abundance of special archaeological finds.
