A horrendous experience

This property is in no way as described on your site. The building which houses the apartment is on the edge of a massive social housing development and is not well maintained either on the exterior or in the interior. We were unable to enter the property because, while the electronic lock accepted the code which we were given, the door never opened, regardless of how many times we tried. We eventually managed to contact the owners who stated that the door was unlocked and that they were at the apartment. Both were untrue. As a result, we were never able to enter the apartment. It was clear to us, however, that the photographs of the interior of the apartment could not relate to the apartment for a number of reasons including the style of windows and the configuration of the rooms. While there was no floor plan, it is clear that the photographs supplied related to another property and had been taken for inclusion in a brochure for an expensive, modern apartment. The apartment is also much further from the centre of Beauvais than the details claim – at least a 10 minute drive. We therefore took the decision to leave and informed the owner, when he eventually called us, that we were cancelling our stay and going elsewhere.
