The staff are so nice, helpful and informative of local hiking food and more. We will be back again!! ”

“This place was by far the best place we ever had up North. Secluded but not isolated, you feel like at the tip end end of the Northshore! Close to Gooseberry and the lighthouse, few miles away from our favorite pie place, stunning view, awesome beach, fire on the beach, beautiful wooden house, fully equipped. And last but not the least: flawless communication with the manager. Our visiting family was so amazed, and we are greatful to have found this gem. Hope to go back again😀”

“Overall, our stay was enjoyable! The cabin is super cute and stocked with all of the necessities, bonus bathroom products in the shower. It was very easy to get in and out of as it is off hwy 61 however you could hear the traffic into the night and early AM. If noise is an issue while sleeping, I would suggest a fan or noise machine. It was really nice to have multiple king beds - both are very firm. We appreciated having a blow up air mattress available. The sauna is wonderful for relaxing……

“The home is beautiful! The amenities are all very nice. It is spacious for a larger group of people. The location is very convenient to both northern and southern north shore. It is right on the lake with a gorgeous view from every room. There is easy access to the shoreline, also. My children are in their 20's and they loved all of it. I hope to return. ”

“This is a quite retreat for anyone looking to get away from the hustle of life. Beautiful view of Lake Superior, no neighbors, woodsy, clean, and well stocked. It is close to the Splitrock lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls, which we enjoyed very much. After a cold hike, warming up with the fireplace and coffee was just the ticket. I would recommend this place if you really want to relax.”

“This cabin was perfect for our stay, close to Gooseberry Falls and not too far from restaurants and Two Harbors. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need for cooking. Spacious, and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, with that said, the smaller bedroom with the bunk beds leave much to be desired. The beds themselves were very thin mattresses, with no mattress pad, ONLY a this polyester bed cover. When we arrived only two of the beds were made. The smaller room with the bunks beds……

“This cozy little cabin in the woods exceeded our expectations. It has everything you need for a private getaway to the woods. The private wood-fired sauna was amazing. It was so delightful and relaxing, we barely wanted to leave to explore all that is nearby, of which there is quite a lot.”

It is like a fourplex with a fire pit and sauna and nice window views. The caretaker took good care of us. We would come back again!”

The check in process was very smooth and quick and the location of the property was perfect. The house was well equipped with anything you may have needed and was very clean and well taken care of.
