Waterfront Harrisville Home w/ Outdoor Fireplace!

"So, we often stay with my brother-in-law’s family in a cabin so we need a cabin to fit 8. This cabin definitely fit all of us & still had a pull-out couch in the living room if 1-2 more people had to fit. This cabin is very nice, clean, the host was awesome & answered all our questions! We usually spend most of our time over on the SE side since family have permanent cabins over there. Most of our time the cabin was in the mornings/evenings/sleeping. Being able to park on the lower parking area was nice when coming home at dark, it was lit well with multiple outside lights & stair lights. Beds were comfy, had all the linens & towels we could need & beach towels downstairs too! It had pretty much anything you could want for baking/cooking, plenty of plates, cups, & silverware. Was also happy to have a washer & dryer so we could wash ½ way through our trip. They had several A/C window units throughout the cabin & it kept the cabin plenty cool for us! Only issue we had was the water pressure in the bathroom shower. I should’ve mentioned it early on to the host but didn’t because we’ve stayed in lots of the lake cabins & knew that can always be an issue here. When leaving we mentioned it to the cleaning person & she mentioned something new with the water system was just installed & prob just needed to be readjusted. That was my bad! We loved this cabin & would love to stay here again in a few years. Thank you for renting out your cabin away from home to us."

"Absolutely beautiful. We had a great time. contact with the host was great, we had a few questions before trip but did not need to contact during. listing was very accurate loved listening to the river. we had a campfire everynight. highly recommend"

"We had the most amazing stay at this cabin! It was the perfect getaway for my two boys that are on the autism spectrum. Being away from the noise and distractions of everyday life, with no cell service or WiFi, gave us the opportunity to truly slow down and enjoy each other. We spent our days canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and exploring, and our evenings around the fire making s’mores with the dogs. The peaceful surroundings and privacy gave my boys the freedom to just be themselves and enjoy everything at their own pace. Watching them laugh, explore, and find their happy place together was something I’ll never forget.This cabin gave us more than a vacation; it gave us quality time, beautiful memories, and a chance to reconnect as a family. We are already looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend this cabin to any family looking for a peaceful, private getaway. "

"We had a nice stay and overall enjoyed our time here. The property was clean, had plenty of seating, and the host was very nice, responsive, and helpful. We stayed during the summer and chose the location because we were looking to enjoy some of the outdoor activities in the area. The house is conveniently located right off a main road, which made getting around easy. Walmart is about 15 minutes away, Old Forge is approximately 44 minutes, and Ager Falls is only about 10 minutes away. There are also several fishing spots within 5–10 minutes, and there is a park located right behind the house, which was a nice bonus. A few things we wish we had known ahead of time: because the property is located directly off a main road, there is some noticeable road noise, especially during the day. The stairs leading up to the bedroom are also fairly steep, which is something guests may want to be aware of, especially if traveling with young children or anyone who has difficulty with stairs. While the location is convenient for getting to different activities, it is not particularly close to Old Forge or some of the larger attractions, so keep that in mind when planning your days."

"On the Expedia website, this property was listed as Breakfast Included. Upon examination, breakfast was not listed as an amenity. However, there was a picture of the breakfast room. It turns out that they offer coffee only. I believe that something should be clarified."

"The host was very responsive of our questions. We were very satisfied with our stay and the convenience of the location. It is nearby Brantingham Lake and there is a convenience store and two restaurants. The home is modern and beautiful. It is nestled around trees. I would highly recommend."
