“We had a few issues with the room- no hot water in the morning, unable to turn off one of bedside lights other than by taking out the bulb, faulty coffee machine. However what was much more important to us was the prompt and efficient way in which the manager dealt with our problems. Five stars for that!”

“The standard of accomodation came as a great surprise. Everything was immaculate. Very spacious beautifully decorated bedrooms. Very friendly and helpful host Orla made check in flawless. Would definitely recommend. Continenal breakfast had lots of choice from beautiful fresh berries and other fruits, fresh yogurts, cereals, and a selection of breads,jams etc very good.”

“very loud. need better access to all stairwells. half the parking blocked off. the resturant had great food but the service was horrible. they sit people with kids in the parlour separate area and then the get forgotten.”

“Very helpful staff checking in is quick and easy, next time I’d ask for rooms further away from the entrance doors from the hotel into the bedrooms mainly because guests seem to say they’re goodbyes there and can be a little loud this doesn’t reflect poorly with the hotel people like not having to walk down to the end of the corridor, personally I prefer end rooms as they are much quieter, good food in the bar and plenty of staff on breakfast was a bit disappointing not a lot of selection from……

“This is our second time at this establishment. Very clean and up-to-date cottage. The shower was wonderful and the bed, comfortable. Very quiet area on a working farm with cows & sheep.”

“Rooms, lodges and restaurants outstanding. Food was wonderful. Our server at the Barton Grill was brilliant! This is a 5 star property and overall lived up to that. We had an issue with vouchers that were purchased for us as a gift. One staff at the golf course was somewhat...aloft...ok, curt but rest of staff and hotel staff were great. I do feel were somewhat shorted on the vouchers and left a sour taste.”

“The Main level of the hotel is kept beautifully. Bedrooms were ok. Bathrooms need fixing up. . Beds comfortable. There was no shampoo is bathroom and the carpet needed vacuuming. Breakfast was solid. Bedrooms felt just a bit shabby.”
