“Wir haben auf einer Motorrad Tour eine Nacht im Hotel Astoria verbracht. Vom Personal wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Für die Motorräder gab es einen Platz in der Garage. Wir waren im neuen Anbau des Hauptgebäudes untergebracht. Das Zimmer war hell, sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. “We were in Austria but the rains closed all the trains. We decided to go to the Interlaken area. Hotel Alpenrose was the only hotel that wasn’t double our budget. It is really more of a cozy bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a little bit out of the way but the trains are so easy in Switzerland than it wasn’t an issue. The ride back gave us time to get caught on emails and send pictures and texts friends and family. We would stay there again. ”

“We found this hotel via the app, and figured we’d take little detour to get there. This ”little detour” was half an hour on serpentine roads through a mostly uninhabited Italian landscape, and the inhabitated parts looking a little like the rural parts of Alabama.
