“We stayed in cabin 17. it was cute and in a great spot within the bush camp grounds. loved the wildlife all around, the creek running through and waking to the sounds of birds each morning. the lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. would recommend this place as a great rustic camp ground (even though we stayed in the cabins). nice and close to Husskinson.”

“We had a lovely stay. The house is lovely, the bathroom is newly renovated which is lovely however the bath tub plug didn’t work and the bathroom floor constantly held water which became slippery and slimy. The grass out the back was abit to long but over all it was a lovely stay. Wolfgang is one of the best hosts iv had the pleasuring in dealing with! Thankyou ”

“I have booked and stayed at many beautiful houses and hotels, so can say without a doubt that the calibre of this house cannot be beat. There was something for all ages, with no details missed. All the guest raved about how comfortable the beds were & how amazing it was that there were 20 of us there and yet we weren’t all on top of each other (there is just so much space). “Overall a wonderful, gorgeous property. Well presented and so very cosy. Two thumbs up. For the sake of a balanced review I've added a couple of things for improvement below. Great things: Beautiful property - a grand home with a homely feel. Well designed and flows well throughout. Walking in had so many wow moments. Living room was a highlight - positioned centrally with access from above and around. Having the sound system and fireplace there really made it such an amazing space. ……

“The house is nicely laid out with tasteful pictures on the walls. Well appointed with nice products - hand wash, body wash etc. Kitchen is reasonably well stocked. Good use of small space. It would be nice if there were some clothes storage space in the bunk room. Beach is beautiful and only a short walk away. I suggest you take most of your meals at the house.”

“Had a fantastic long weekend at Blue Salt. The house is stunning, spotless and extremely well-equipped. Beautiful views of the ocean and a short walk to seven mile beach ensured complete relaxation. It was the perfect getaway and we’ll certainly be looking to book again in the future.”

“We are a large family of 18, ages from 9 months to 71. We had a marvellous time with the animals, tennis court, pool and spa there was something for everyone. Ideal house for young families. Fantastic host easy to communicate with and so generous with Easter goodies and welcome basket. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended”

“easy to find and access from the road once we got used to the turning. Enjoyed the pool table in the adjacent bar/bistro but the one in the lounge was not accessible in the evenings due to the inhouse restaurant not being open.”
