I took one of the cabins. However you truly get what you pay for. Whilst it was cheap (around $35 USD per night), it felt like a downgrade from the rest of the hotel. You go down into the basement where you essentially have tiny rooms and it makes you feel like you’re in a prison. The room was tiny, which is not a complaint as that was clearly advertised. However I had 2 major concerns: 1) my room had a horrible heavy smoking smell. It was extremely strong and lingering. I did alert staff about this twice, and they were prompt in spraying some air freshener, however that only masked the smell for around 10 minutes before returning back to the smoke smell as normal. Tbh, the staff knew that this smell existed and shouldn’t have given me this room in the first place. It would’ve been reasonable if they moved me into a different room, however they did not do this. 2) there were small bugs/insects in the washroom. It was very disgusting and made me feel very uncomfortable. I brought this to staff’s attention and they were prompt in spraying some insecticides. However, the whole experience made me feel very uncomfortable, especially for a brand new hotel and one that prides itself on being a top-rated option in Jounieh. Overall, I would highly recommend against the cabins. I haven’t tested the room in the upper floors but I hope they aren’t as bad as my experience.

I booked the hotel because of the sea view, however the room i received had no sea view. There's a fish restaurant right next to the hotel, so the rooms at that side of the hotel smell like fish. The staff was more than generous to offer me an upgrade to a different room. Finally, the 2nd reason we booked this hotel was because breakfast was included in the package, however, no breakfast was available at the property.

I REFUSED to check in that terrible offered “room that I booked through Expedia, a room package with airfare. When I arrived after long and exhausting flights, I was offered a “Cabin room” which is a room with no windows, not even one, not even a tiny one …!!! The kind check in clerk did his best to offer me another room, but the restaurant exhaust was right at my room level, and for a big difference in cost. No other room was available that night. Expedia miss led me into that booking, the pictures offered by Expedia were of an amazing room with ocean view. To my biggest surprise the hotel, completed the awful and non human deal with an extremely tiny room that throughout my thousand of trips around the world, I’ve never seen a similar type of room, a single bed with barely space to walk of to 1 of its side, with no day light, no window. In our North American standard, a window is a must have to consider it a bedroom. I was supposed to stay in that “room” 20 nights …!!! An awful and extremely disappointing Expedia service and follow ups, that end up every time with no getting back to me with any kind of solutions. I tried to get a reasonable solution with Expedia by spending hours and hours, making me wait 2 to 3 days until they get an answer back from the hotel about canceling my reservation. Then another live agent asked me after going through all the details, that I had to wait until Monday (2 days) to get an answer, since it’s the weekend. He never got back to me.
