“The hotel is under new ownership. Main areas are clean and fresh looking. I’d booked a double room with river view. Tried calling before we arrived to ask if microwave in the room-1st time the call was just hung up on, I assumed it was an accident. Called back twice, no answer.
We arrived about 8pm. Sign at front desk said “closed”. Rang the bell, finally a couple emerged from a dark room behind the desk. Some d rugs seemed to be involved. I told her my name, she handed me a key. We……
