"This was a last minute late night stop on our way to the Algarves. It was a bit hard to find but ended up being our favorite stop in Portugal over the past 2 weeks. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished. The shower is fantastic. The breakfast is simply outstanding. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property and the pool. The owners obviously take pride in the property and what they offer guests. Another plus is the beautiful town and beach area. Highly recommended. Top...

"Monte tipicamente Alentejano a 10 min. de Beja, numa zona bastante tranquila no meio da paisagem Alentejana. Quinta e alojamento tradicionais e muito limpos, zona muito tranquila e piscina agradável em frente à casa. O quarto com decoração tradicional, espaçoso, cama e almofadas muito cómodas. "Great place to stay,clean well maintained,highly recommend it, however as far as instructions the staff should be clear about location as the address I was given was not where the place was,not a complain just a suggestion, I would definitely go back no doubt!"

"Quinta Marugo is a wonderful place in the beautiful region of Alentejo. The place offers a lot of peace, given its rural location in the countryside and relaxation opportunities (pool, Yoga, sport activities). The focus on organic food production and sustainable use of resources are omnipresent, showing how tourism can become more sustainable and offer inspiration for home usage and change in behaviors.
