Quality Inn Port Orchard

"I want to give a huge shout out to Heather and Shawn at Quality Inn. After we checked in, we were told this hotel does not have an elevator. My husband has multiple medical conditions which make it difficult to walk at times and navigating the stairs was not going to be an option for our 5 day stay. The desk clerk said there were no rooms on the first floor and we'd have to talk to management about changing rooms or a refund in the morning. The following day after talking to Heather and Shawn in Management, we were moved to a 1st floor room with very reasonable accommodations. We packed our items and they took care of getting it all moved from upstairs. They both agreed that the fact that there is no elevator is buried in their website and would recommend changes to both Hotels.com and the Quality Inn websites to have it be more visible. The hotel itself is updating their rooms to remove the carpet which is old and could us a good cleaning. The bedding was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast left a lot to be desired and the lady there, although super nice, began rationing the food prior the end of the breakfast time. Breakfast is a "nice to have" convenience and would not deter me from booking here again but if you advertise breakfast, it should be available during the hours listed. There is coffee and water available 24 hours in the lobby. There are massage chairs there too. Overall, staff was incredible, parking was good and there is easy freeway access."

It’s located in a convenient spot in downtown Tacoma with the T-line station and bus stations being very walkable."
