Situated along the banks of a picturesque river, you can truly unwind in a comfortable retreat from the distractions of daily life. Step outside onto your private deck and be captivated by breathtaking views and sounds of the river and surrounding wilderness. Melt into nature in its natural habitat and star gaze at night and let life's stressors melt away.

Each Cabin was meticulously crafted by the local Amish to blend harmoniously with the natural landscape. With rustic charm, the Cabins interior does not have running water. Includes 4 queen-size bunk beds that sleep 8, a large family dining table, a small fridge, a toaster oven, and a coffee maker. Please bring everything you need for a comfortable stay including sleeping/sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, and linens are NOT provided. Cooking pans and grilling utensils etc. are NOT provided. If you are traveling without the ability to bring these items please ask and we will do the best we can to accommodate you. Outside the Cabin are a grill, fire pit, and picnic table. The bathhouse/shower/toilets are centrally located steps away. Step outside onto your private deck and be captivated by breathtaking views of the river and surrounding wilderness.

"At Over the River Through the Woods Rustic Cabins," the absence of Wi-Fi is deliberate, inviting guests to immerse themselves fully in the beauty of nature and the company of loved ones but there is phone service. Rediscover the joy of unplugging as you unwind on the riverside deck, listening to the gentle flow of the river and watching wildlife meandering. Bring a captivating book to read, play cards or engage in games with family and friends, magical birdwatching, fishing or simply reveling in the blissful quietude of your surroundings while skipping rocks at our private sand-stone beach. Kayakers are welcome and there is access to the Geneses River near the cabins and from the beach that is not too far a walk from the cabins.
