Bella Coola Valley

The reason for a one star is only because we paid for an executive king suite with a separate tub and shower. We showed up early to check in and had a little wait time before the 3pm time so we had a light lunch. The lady at the check in counter said our room was ready slightly before 3. When she gave us the room key and it was only on the eighth floor. So I asked if we could get a different room on a higher floor to see the city and she told me that was the only room. So when we get inside the room there was immediately a building next door with a grassy rooftop. So we had a beautiful room but a terrible view which totally ruined our city views and seemed like we were on the first floor. I guess because we got the room cheaper on a different site(hotels.com). So if you want a higher room up to 26 floors you should consider their website.

No signage to help you find their onsite parking (which is in the alley behind it). Room wasn't ready until after 4pm and staff wasn't helpful about allowing use of pool or other amenities in the meantime. Didn't receive our paid VIP item and no offer of anything else as a substitute. Room was fine (i/e mostly clean) but noisy. Mattress was way past its prime. The AC unit didn't seem to be controllable by the remote control or any other means. Patio was dirty. I would *not recommend.
