Wonderful cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner made us feel very welcome and the cabin was very clean and decorated very uniquely, very tasteful. It was close enough to visit all the local sights.

Loved the personal touches and attention to detail. A beautifully unique place to stay.

My son and I stayed at Dancing Fox due to its proximity to White Star Quarry as we were both doing SCUBA certification classes. The hosts were incredibly gracious and friendly, and the cabin had everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay here again!

Very peaceful stay

Gary greeted upon arrival and showed us around the beautiful grounds and cabin. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a restful stay. Gary was an excellent host and I would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful hideaway

This cabin is beautifully built. It is furnished comfortably with many interesting antiques. The backyard has big white pines and lots of birds. The hosts are exceptionally kind. I look forward to staying again.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable and peaceful stay at the cabin. It was also nice to be in close proximity to Lake Erie and the islands. I hope we we have an opportunity to come back again sometime soon.

Perfect Getaway

I don’t usually write reviews but this cabin is so amazing that I felt compelled. Gary was so kind when we checked in and out and thought of all the little touches to make our anniversary trip wonderful- from balloons to cinnamon rolls to a well-stocked kitchen. Definitely a great place for couples to stay!

Dancing Fox Cabin

Stayed at the Dancing Fox Cabin while visiting Sorrowful Mother Shrine. We enjoyed the rustic features of the cabin and the back to nature setting complete with garden and fire pit. The owners were very accommodating and made us feel welcome and at home. Would come again and do recommend it.

The property was very unique. The host and his wife were very welcoming and made sure all needs were met. Check in and check out was simple and fast. Everything was clean and the cabin had a unique charm about it. Wonderful cabin - couldn't have been better

My best friend and I needed a girls' weekend and found this cabin online. We fell in love with the pictures and when we stepped into the cabin, the feeling was solidified. Adorable cabin with perfect little touches everywhere you look. Cozy and comfortable. We had everything we needed and felt totally recharged when we left. Already planning our next visit!

Unique cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the homestead cabin. The setting is peaceful and the furnishings comfortable. The foldout couch was nice for an extra place to sleep. Gary was very accommodating. We liked reading about the cabin construction in the extensive guest binder. It was a nice place to rest after a long day at Cedar Point. The Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve is great for nature lovers.

Perfect Cabin Escape

This was our second stay at Dancing Fox Cabin and everything was exactly as expected. Rustic, homey, private, and exactly what we were hoping for. The wifi was spotty at times - this was not the case during our first visit - but when it worked, it was perfect. Otherwise, we’re looking forward to another visit, hopefully soon. This is one of the most awesome places ever. My husband and I spent 3 wonderful nights. The descriptions and pictures do not do this place justice. We loved the cabin and surroundings. Paul and Janelle are wonderful people and are now friends for life.
