“The property was exactly as described. It was clean and had comfortable furniture and beds. The bathrooms were a good size. Plenty of television stations. Although it stated there was no kitchen. I really missed not having one. I found the owner very quick to respond to questions.”

“We had an excellent stay at this cottage, enjoyed the hot tub while watching the sunset. The cottage is fully equipped with everything needed to cook meals, read a book, play games and enjoy the outdoors, lake and have a bonfire. The welcome basket was a special touch, included marshmallows, popcorn and more treats. Wish we had more time to spend there.”

Relatively close to St. John's - Norman's Cove - Long Cove is a delightful community, with friendly, welcoming people, and great ocean views.Karl's property was cozy, well equipped, and provided a fantastic base from which to take day trips to the Baccalieu Trail, Trinity, and St. John's. “As a family of 10, this house met all of our needs and then some! From being greeted with a gift basket of goodies and a bottle of wine to having a sparkling clean house with plenty of room and space. I’ve never stayed in a more well stocked house - we didn’t need to buy anything except food. Location was perfect allowing us to strike out to various spots in the Avalon region within 1.5 hours drive. The host was very helpful and gracious if we needed anything. Highly recommend!!!”
