You definitely will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access it (especially in the rainy season). We made stewed chicken, the national dish of Belize and everyone loved it. The pier is fantastic to hang out on and swim from and then there is the pool area for a relaxing time. It is close to Bocawina where we hiked through the rain forest one day and zip lined another. It is also close to Sub Umbra Floreo……

“Villa Shore is everything we had hoped for our stay and more. This home was perfect for our group of 8 adults. Ample space to hang out inside and out. Rooms and beds were comfortable and we loved sinking into the giant couch in the living room after a long day in the pool or out in excursions. The pool was perfect! We also really liked that it got shade later in the afternoon to give us a break from the sun when we needed it. Rick, the owner is amazing! He answered so many questions and set us……

“I originally had some hesitation after reading older reviews, but I’m so glad we went ahead with this stay. The host has clearly listened to feedback and made amazing upgrades. Now all the bedrooms have air conditioning, which made a huge difference—everyone slept comfortably even in the summer heat. They also added a water heater, so we enjoyed nice hot showers whenever we wanted, and we had absolutely no issues with the toilets during our stay.Overall, this home far exceeded our expectations.……
