Great experience

Wonderful accommodations. Convenient access to snowmobile trails. Monte is very responsive. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Girls' trip

It was fun. The girls had alot of fun oyt in the lake and outside and inside. Its just a bit hot inside and lots of ladybug that is bothering some of the little girls. Overall, it was a fun stay. Would do it again next time.

Beautiful home! Amazing Stay!

There were 22 of us that stayed in the house. There was plenty of room and it was the most perfect place! It was clean and roomy! We had so much fun in the house and on the lake. The communication was so timely. We appreciate everything about this place!

Awesome Home for a Large Family

Wonderful home! Lots of space to spread out! Many activities to keep everyone entertained. Loved all the games we played in the front yard and beautiful views!! Would definitely recommend this home to everyone!!

Great family rental

Overall our stay at White Birch was fantastic. The space was perfect for our family group. Things were clean and ready for us when we arrived. One suggestion I would make is adding basic necessities to the unit (kitchen towels, bath towels, soaps, Kleenex). While they were very clear these things were not included, it is just nice to have them available. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and location even in Sub-zero weather!

We stayed here with our family of 12 for a weekend during hockey day MN. Loved the home and decor which is beautiful and well kept. Lots of room for everyone to sleep or have a few quiet moments. The common spaces and hot tub were well used by us and there was plenty of room for everyone! Highly recommend this home and resort. Location is actually about 35 miles from Bemidji.

Nice and roomy for our group of 16.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice and spacious for large groups. Communication response while there was slow. Cleanliness could improve, since we had to vacuum before we left. Too many notes/rules. Lots of activity options provided for land and water.

Beautiful and Relaxing Stay

I want to thank you for allowing us to have our family reunion at your home. I cannot thank you enough for providing such a beautiful home in such a serene location. I wanted a place to be wonderful accommodations without all the crowds, and you provided just that with all you had to entertain us. Monte and Sandy were great to deal with and when we had any questions or needed help they were so quick to help us out. We wished we would of had better fishing but we know in August, when it's hot, it can be hard sometimes on any lake in Minnesota, so I certainly do not hold that against the stay. Just another excuse to come back again. Monte was at least great about helping find any fishing spots so we at least got to have a few great fish dinners and got to take some fish home. We will definitely be back again! Oh, and the kitchen was absolutely great! They had stocked it with everything we needed and my family as a whole are quite the foodies so that is a compliment. Thanks again and we'll visit again hopefully next summer or maybe even sooner. A great place to celebrate the holidays!

Awesome!

This home was perfect for our family! We have 3 married kids, 7 granddaughters and, of course, us - the parents. The grandkids LOVED the room with the bunk bed and twin beds. They could giggle to their hearts content. We had a movie night downstairs, while adults were upstairs talking and just relaxing. The kitchen was perfect - very roomy and well stocked. Great for cooking for a large group! There was a playground for the kids out back, a hot tub on our private deck...sunsets were beautiful. This was, as I said, perfect for a large group. The owners/manager were very pleasant and if you needed something they were there. All "instructions" were made clear before we left. The main thing you need to remember - BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS, WASHCLOTHS AND SOAPS!!! For the bath, kitchen, hot tub, pool, beach...whatever. Most everything else is included - except food. : ) There are notes in the house to help you remember rules and with information pertaining to the house. We really had a good time. Thanks so much Sandy, for all of your help! We hope to return in the future!

Over priced

Our family stayed at this location and after the stay would not go back. There were some good things but also bad things for the total cost of a one week stay. The total cost for our one week trip was over 9K and for that cost should've made our stay more at ease like at #1 family resort should as they stated. Good things they had was the play area for the kids, the sandy beach, kayaks, paddle boards as stated, large house to accommodate large family. Monte was quick to respond to messages we sent to look at items, which was good, but there seemed to be more of an excuse that it wasn’t their fault and more our fault. Not what should occur. The hot tub was nice for the days when it rained but not cleaned when we checked in. The bad things that we encountered compared to others we stayed at were below par. When we first arrived one of the two refrigerators was not cold. Monte looked at it and said it was due to us putting warm items in it. I've put the same items in my garage fridge and never caused it to be that warm. We only asked to check to ensure it was working properly, but after one night it was working so our assumption is the refrigerator was off or turned way down before our arrival. The pool was not heated. Not clean under couches. Charged us extra for having over 14 people. Had to bring own bath towels. Coin operated washing machines. Couldn’t find firewood. Wouldn’t go back.

Friends Getaway

A few of us couples rented this for a long weekend getaway to reconnect. The cabin was spacious, clean, and organized. The 2 refrigerators were great to keep the abundance of food we had. The hot tub was warm and roomy, fun place to spend some time. If you happen to enjoy winter activities, it's right on shore and perfect if you want to access the ice to fish, snowmobile, etc. Overall, nice place and I would definitely stay there again!

Great home and property in the north woods

This was an extremely clean and comfortable house! We had about 15 people up for a family getaway and it felt like we all had plenty of space with the big basement and upstairs family room. We went to Buena Vista just 20 minutes away for some sledding and skiing. The house had everything we needed. Just remember to bring towels for yourself and family.
