“The hosts have great communication and provide lots of advice and assistance. The property is definately "Unique" and "Quirky" with a bit of a handbuilt feel to it. It might not suit everyone, a few things might seem a bit rough around the edges, but it suits the vibe of the place and it suited us. Probably not good for young children.Merrijig is a convenient location, particularly for off-season travel, being halfway between Mansfield and Mt Buller made logistics much easier than if we stayed……

“When we arrived at the accommodation during check in time, we found that the room was not done. It was a total mess from the previous guest. I rang the customer service but the owner was unable to be contacted as no one picked up the phone. While I was on the phone, I met a cleaner from the next door neighbour who happened to know the owner. I asked her if she could help us find someone to prepare our room, and she said she would do it herself. We then had to leave and come back about an hour……
