I have been traveling with my mother for 15 years. Taj Exotica is without question one of the finest resorts we have stayed in. The staff are fantastic, the kitchens are superb, and the hospitality and conveniences are world class. Bravo!

My friend and I enjoyed our 3-night stay very much. the hotel’s staff and services were helpful and generally great. We specifically enjoyed our one-hour customised cooking session organised by Narmin and a couple of the hotel’s chefs. Delicious food and great fun. If I were to suggest an improvement or two, I'd ask for more activities for adults. Also, it might be easier if different taxes were not excluded from the price lists…

Great Resort with a few minor issues

This is an amazing hotel. We booked a villa with private pool and it was well worth the upgrade. On a whole the stay was wonderful apart from a few minor points: 1. The staff at the Lobster Village are absolutely miserable. Every else they are fantastic but the team at the Lobster Village are amongst the most unhappy I have ever come across. 2. The bar next to reception is really overpriced. A local larger is 500 rupees yet at all the other bars on the resort its 275 rupees. 3. The hair Salon prices are out of date on the website. a wash and blow dry was advertised as being 1200rupees but was actually 3600 rupees. As stated these are all minor points as the resort and hotel are outstanding.

Thanks to Staff members, service was awesome. It os to note that Miss Aishwarya was excellent and very responsible. Particularly thank her and staff for helping is with our daughter birthday celebration. Her hospitality made the difference for our feelings. We thank her big time. I enjoyed playing golf and I feel Mr. Johnson was the best coach I have ever come across. He made golf soneasy for me. I owenhim a big time.

Taj Exotica in South Goa is a beautiful and quiet property. Clinston a staff in the restaurant ,front Manager and the gentleman working in the travel desk were also kind and bent backwards to help us. The staff were welcoming extremely helpful. The only issue we had was the transport back to the Airport at GOI on the way we wanted to visit the Birla temple ,unfortunately it was closed ,the opening time was not known it was only a short detour as it was on the opposite side of the road ,we could not get down from the car but still we were charged Indian Rs 600/=. we were told that we needed to pay the driver extra for the visit it was on the highway to the airport . As we could not visit the temple as they do not open until 1700 in the evenings

Beach does not have loungers or seats - no licence

We came for a beach holiday to relax - the beach was great but there are no seats or loungers because hotel does not have a licence for them. They asked us to sit behind large mesh wired boundaries. Nowhere on their websites or travel web agents does it tell you that you can’t sit in their beach on loungers or deckchairs. They need to inform on their website and booking platforms so customers can make an informed choice.

Just returned from an amazing stay at the Taj Exotica Resort and Spa. This hotel is absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is wonderful, set on 56 acres, beautifully decorated, only 2 stories high, very stylish. But what makes the hotel is the staff. From the moment we arrived until we left they staff were absolutely wonderful. We went for breakfast every morning and by the third morning our coffee was waiting for us, when we finished a second cup arrived then we were offered a coffee to go. Indra and his staff made our day. They always met you with a smile and could not do enough for you. The staff round the pool were so kind and considerate, not only giving you towels but placing them on the sun bed and moving the sun bed to wherever you wanted. Water was always readily available and in the heat and humidity it was a necessity. Our room was spotless and kept that way by the cleaning staff who came twice daily to clean and check if anything needed topped up. I can't quite believe it, but not only were our sheets and bedding changed half way through the holiday but the curtains as well. The gardens are beautiful and well tended by gardeners. I like exploring the area, which we did, but if I was told I had to stay in this hotel for two whole weeks and never leave I would be delighted. I cannot say how amazing I thought this hotel was. We will definitely be back in Goa but could not return without staying at the Taj Exortica. Thank you for an amazing time.

Room was okay - not luxury. Limited restaurants. Only one restaurant with reasonable selection of dishes. Not much activities and very limited public transportation available near the hotel. A shuttle service to some sites where public transportation is easily available would have been helpful.
