The Basalt Bungalow is a fully furnished two bedroom, three bed (1 king, 1 queen, 1 queen sleeper sofa), one bath home located in the ever popular Westside Newport Avenue Neighborhood in Bend! The Bungalow welcomes you with a large covered porch and private fenced yard with a large hot tub to soak in anytime of the year! DOWNTOWN LOCATION
Only steps away from many local favorite spots! Grab some baked goods at Nancy P's Baking and a cup of fresh coffee at Backporch Roasters. The local gourmet grocer Newport Market, and great eats like Chow, Spork and Kebaba are just one block away! Mirror Pond and Downtown Bend are only 1-5 blocks away...and of course Mt Bachelor is just 20 minutes up the road. Come stay in Bend and live like a local!

HEATING & COOLING
This classic bungalow sits in the summer shade of maple, pine, plum and juniper trees. The window A/C unit in the living room does a great job cooling the home off in the summer. There is also a central fan to cool you off in the summer. Central heat will keep you warm on chilly nights at this sweet Bend bungalow!

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The Basalt Bungalow sleeps 6 guests. You'll have 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and a queen hide-a-bed couch in the living room. A Pack & Play Crib is also provided for your little one if needed (bring your own baby sheets). Sheets are provided for the hide-a-bed and extra blankets are provided to keep you extra cozy!

KITCHEN AND DINING
Enjoy a spacious fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops. This classic eat-in kitchen has an expandable table to comfortably seat up to 6 folks. The outdoor patio table also seats 6 and comes with a propane BBQ for grilling your favorites! A high chair is provided.

OUTDOOR SPACES & SALT WATER HOT TUB
Outside you'll find an open, spacious landscaped, grassy yard and blooming trees. The private salt water hot tub is perfect for a soak any time of year! We do ask you to be whisper quiet in the hot tub after 10pm. Feel free to fire up the gas grill for a BBQ and enjoy the sunny patio on those perfect Bend afternoons. Detached from the house, is a locked shed for storing your gear year-round. You'll also find bikes and helmets in the shed for your use. Please bring your own helmet for the perfect fit. No smoking of anything please.

PARKING
You will have your own private alley parking spot for 1-2 vehicles. There is also on-street parking in front of the home.

PET-FRIENDLY WITH APPROVAL
The Basalt Bungalow is an occasionally pet-friendly home with an enclosed yard. Pet sheets are provided for furniture. If you plan to bring your sweet pup(s), kindly let us know prior and remember to pick up your piles! A pet fee applies to each reservation.

FREE WIFI AND SMART ROKU TV
Free 100 Mbps internet. Wifi speed test on a mobile phone is 66 Mbps / 19.1 Mbps. The Smart ROKU TV offers 350+ free channels. Bring your streaming subscriptions so you can stream your favorite channels. There are 2 Smart TVs in the home located in the living room and in the king bedroom. Check the window seat for a selection of games too.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
This home is nestled into a lovely, peaceful, quiet residential neighborhood and is not appropriate for loud and late parties. City of Bend quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am and are enforced as are Bend's Good Neighbor Guidelines. Between 10pm-8am, especially when outside enjoying the decks, please keep noise levels very low and be considerate to our neighbors.
